REFUND & PAYMENT POLICY

1. Payment

Payment for services is due at the time of the appointment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Accepted forms: cash, credit/debit card, or approved digital payment methods.
2. Refunds
-
No refunds are issued once a notary service has been completed.
-
If a service cannot be completed due to our error (e.g., scheduling mistake on our end), a full refund or rescheduling will be provided.
3. Cancellations & No-Shows
-
Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment.
-
If canceled less than 2 hours before the appointment or the client is unavailable at the scheduled time, a travel fee may still be assessed to cover time and expenses.
-
Missed appointments or no-shows may result in fees equal to the scheduled service amount plus any travel costs.
Administrative & Convenience Fees
Wait Time Fee
Each appointment includes a 15-minute grace period. If the notary is required to wait beyond this grace period due to client delay, incomplete documents, or other client-related issues, a wait time fee $25.00 per 15-minute increment will apply.
Printing & Courier
Drop-Off Fee $35.00
printing and courier fee applies when documents must be printed and dropped off at FedEx or UPS on behalf of the client. This fee covers printing, handling, and document delivery.
After-Hours Fee
Appointments scheduled outside standard business hours (before 7:00 AM, after 8:00 PM, Monday-Friday and weekends 9:00AM, after 6:00PM or holidays) may incur an after-hours fee $100.
This fee ensures availability for your convenience and covers additional scheduling and travel considerations.

All Signers Must Be Present
Every person whose signature needs to be notarized must be physically present at the appointment.
I cannot notarize a signature for a spouse, parent, or business partner who is not in the room, even if you have their Power of Attorney.
⚠️ This is required under Texas law and ensures your notarization is valid and legally enforceable.
Client Checklist: What to Bring to Your Notary Appointment
To ensure a smooth and legal notarization, please have the following ready:
1. Valid, Unexpired Government ID
Texas law is strict regarding identification. Please bring one of the following for each signer:

What if a signer does not have a valid ID?
If a signer lacks a valid ID (common for elderly clients in care facilities), we may be able to use a Credible Witness, who must:

Please notify us in advance if a Credible Witness will be used.
2. The Document (Complete but Unsigned)

Do not sign your document until we are together — the notary must witness your signature.

If a section does not apply, mark it “N/A” before your appointment.
3. Payment
